Out of context and out of character... I hope someone else finds this amusing as well. A combination of playing Skyrim and seeing the Hobbit can lead to ... this.

To clarify for the ones who don't know who these are:
The tall guy is Ulfric Stormcloak from Skyrim. The short one is a dwarf, Thorin Oakenshield, from The Hobbit (specifically the movie version). Apparently they share quite many interests, most importantly having a grudge on elves (and being all majestic).

If you say: "WFT is that majestic thing anyway?"
When googling for reference images for my previous drawing, I found this ...thing... that has almost become a meme.

There's a lot of stuff that clearly is made by "a little" over-enthusiastic fan-girls, but there are also some quite hilarious stuff.

I think that the only reason why people like Thorin, but not Ulfric, is because they have seen Thorin's past and see why he hates Elves and why he acts like he does, but they have only heard bits and pieces from Ulfric's story (hardly listened). They actually have pretty similar backgrounds. They both have seen and experienced things on the battlefield that have affected them greatly and they both felt betrayed. Thorin when the elves refused to help him and his folk, and Ulfric when the Empire signed the White-Gold Concordat and Skyrim were forced to ban the worship of Talos.

I bet that if people had SEEN Ulfric's story, they might still not side with him, but they'd stop hating him and understand him more. I mean, if peopled hadn't seen Thorin's background or anything, people might have seen him as a douche, like they do with Ulfric, but since they have seen it, they understand him and accept why he acts like he does, despise his flaws.
